Challenge
This customer contacted Triple H wanting an estimate for insulation for his attic. He mentioned that the current insulation in the attic hasn't been changed in over 40 years.
Solution
Home Comfort Consultant Ryan went to the customers home in East Moriches, NY to see what we were dealing with. Ryan recommended air sealing all penetration's to help with any drafts in the home. Installing Baffles (air chutes) in each rafter bay to keep soffit vents clear and prepare for insulation. And then adding new blown-in cellulose insulation to the space. The customer loved the recommendation and the Triple H crew did just that. Now the home is more comfortable, less drafty, and the fuel and electric bills are lower.
