Insulation Services - Crawl Space Encapsulation System- Islip, NY

Triple H went into this home in Islip, NY and installed a crawl space encapsulation system. All vents and other air leaks to the outside are sealed. The crawl space walls are insulated with SilverGlo insulation with a reflective radiant barrier face. Then a dimpled plastic drainage matting is installed on the floor to create an airspace and thermal break between the matting and the ground. Then a heavy-duty crawl space encapsulation liner is installed permanently across the dirt floor, sealed with mechanical fasteners to the walls and spiked to the floor. The results with this system installed is much lower humidity, much warmer floors upstairs, less drafts and a more comfortable home.
