Triple H Insulation Before & After Photos

This homeowner from St. James had a free home energy assessment. This customer was experiencing comfort issues. Upon inspecting this home it was determined that the home had a lot of air leakage and lack of insulation. For this attic we air sealed all penetrations in the attic. This included all wires and duct work. After the air sealing was complete we then blew cellulose insulation through out the attic. Hot air moves from more to less, meaning warm air in your home works its way outside in the winter, while hot air in the summer finds a way in. By air sealing your home you can stop the warm air from escaping the home and the hot air from entering the home. Air sealing and insulating a home creates a much more comfortable environment and saves on energy. 

This customer from St. James called Tripe H Contracting to have a free home energy assessment. He had felt that his home was loosing heat and was not properly insulated. He was consuming a tremendous amount of oil in the winter months. After the assessment was complete Triple H recommended the customer have his attic properly insulated using blowing in cellulose insulation. We also built a mechanical cat walk allowing the HVAC system to be easily accessed. Now the customer will see an improvement in his oil consumption and will feel more comfortable. 

A resident of St. James had a free home energy assessment. The homeowner was looking to make his house more comfortable and save money on his bills. His attic insulation was old, causing the home to lack in efficiency. Triple H Contracting blew in cellulose insulation. Cellulose insulation is made from recycled materials and has an insulation value as high as R-4 per in. The insulation is treated with a nontoxic borate solution that gives the material a Class 1 fire safety rating. It is also resistant to mold and insects! By using the cellulose insulation to properly insulate this  attic, the homeowner will now benefit from a more comfortable home and see an improvement in his bills.

This customer from St. James NY wanted to make their home more comfortable and energy efficient year-round. One of the recommendations was for the crawl space. The crawl space had no insulation and was causing the rooms above to be cold and drafty. Triple H air sealed and insulated the block walls of the crawl space with SilverGlo. The home will now be noticeably more comfortable.
