Before and After of a Centereach, NY Attic Install. Triple H crew reinsulated this attic with new blown in cellulose insulation and added a catwalk for easy access to the AC unit.
Prior to this customer in Sayville calling Triple H Contracting for a free home energy assessment, they were losing a lot of energy as well as money. This customer's home had no insulation in the knee walls. Knee wall spaces are typically not insulated and cause energy loss. In order to help this customer's home become more efficient SilverGlo was installed. By using SilverGlo the customer's home will be significantly warmer upstairs in the winter and cooler in the summer.
This Sayville NY homeowner was looking to reduce the costs of heating and cooling the home. The current attic insulation had not been updated in some time. Over the years insulation codes have changed. You should know what insulation is in your home and if it is up to current code. If your home is not adequately insulated it could be costing you a ton of money as well as making you uncomfortable. For this attic, Triple H Air Sealed the attic floor, blew in Cellulose Insulation and built a Mechanical Catwalk. Now that this attic is now tightly air sealed and has proper insulation the home will maintain more comfortable climate and reduce the cost of heating and cooling. The mechanical Catwalk makes it much easier to access the HVAC system in the future.
A homeowner from Sag Harbor wanted to make the upstairs of their home more comfortable year round. The attic of this home was not properly air sealed. Allowing for warm air to escape the home in the winter and cool air in the summer. Triple H air sealed the attic floor and insulated it with cellulose insulation. A SuperDeck was also created for this home. The SuperDeck uses SilverGlo Insulation to create the best R-Value. Boards are then installed to create a clean and neat storage area. This home will now be more comfortable year round.
A Port Jefferson resident contacted Triple H for their poorly insulated attic. They were experiencing a very uncomfortable and drafty home. The attic floor of the home was not properly insulated. This allowed for heat from the living space to be lost to the outdoors through the vented attic. This customer also wanted to have space in the attic for storage. The Attic SuperDeck was the absolute best solution for this home. The Superdeck seals all major air leaks along the exterior walls, if the ceiling joist cavities are not filled with insulation cellulose is used to fill them. Then soffit baffles are installed as needed to keep loose insulation out of the soffits. After that wood dams are installed to contain loose insulation on the outboard side of the SuperDeck. SilverGlo is then installed across the bulk of the attic floor to provide a superior R-Value. Finally, wood sheets are installed to create the storage decking. The complete Attic SuperDecking has fantastic results! It makes the home much warmer, more comfortable and saves on the cost of heating and cooling as well as providing an outstanding storage area.
