A resident of Oceanside requested Triple H to look at their attic. The customer was experiencing comfort issues and was interested in using some of the attic for storage. This attic was not properly sealed or insulated. Triple H first air sealed all top plates and penetrations on the attic flat. Then installed baffles for proper attic ventilation. Next, Triple H build a storage platform. Finally, cellulose insulation was installed. This homeowner will now be much more comfortable in their home.
This customer in Mineola requested a free home energy assessment. This customer was also interested in using his attic for storage. Upon completion of the assessment it was determined that this home could benefit from proper insulation while creating a usable storage area. Triple H Contracting built a Super Deck. A super deck is a new layer of wood followed by 1 layer of 2 inch Silverglo with one more layer of wood on top. Cellulose insulation is then used to insulate under the floor. An attic tent was also installed to make the attic entry air tight. The customer now has a usable storage area with out sacrificing the ability to properly insulate their home. The home will now be more comfortable as well as more efficient.
A lovely resident from Stewart Manor reached out to Triple H, they wanted to know how they could reduce the cost of heating and cooling the home. This attic had insulation but was not properly sealed. Insulation alone will not stop air leaks. Triple H air sealed the attic floor before installing cellulose insulation. With the combination of air sealing and insulation this home will be much more comfortable, less drafty, and quieter.
This home in Hempstead, NY had an attic that wasn’t properly insulated resulting in the home having cold, drafty rooms, cold floors, and was harder to heat and keep comfortable. This results in having higher fuel and electric bills since you’re trying so hard to keep your house comfortable. Triple H added 14” blown in cellulose to the attic space after air sealing all the air leaks. We also added a catwalk to the air handler. Now this home should be warmer, less drafty, noticeably more comfortable all around, with lower fuel and electric bills.

With a SuperAttic, your attic becomes a part of the conditioned space of your home. SuperAttic uses SilverGlo expanded polystyrene foam insulation board that is infused with graphite and specifically manufactured with a radiant barrier on both sides to create an "energy force field"
With SuperAttic you will see a considerable improvement in the overall comfort of your home, as well as reduced heating and cooling costs.
