A home in Selden NY needed Attic Insulation. The home was cold and drafty. Triple H evaluated the home and found that the insulation in the attic was old causing it to not work properly. Triple H air sealed all penetrations on the attic flat and then installed Cellulose Insulation. With proper insulation in the attic now the home will be much more comfortable.
This customer from Mt Sinai called seeking a free in home energy evaluation. He had just purchased the home and had major concerns about his high energy bills. Our comfort specialist took time to evaluate the entire home. After analyzing it was determined that this home needed proper insulation in the attic. Triple H Contracting blew in 6 inches of Cellulose insulation into the attic. Triple H created a storage platform so the customer could continue to store his belongings in his attic. A mechanical catwalk was built to ensure easy access to the HVAC system. This customers energy bills should decrease and he should also be more comfortable in the home.
This homeowner from Coram, NY contacted Triple H stated that his home was always cold, draft throughout, and no matter what he couldn't fix it. Triple H Specialist Ryan went to the home for an evaluation. Part of the project Ryan proposed was to insulate the basement ceiling to help with the cold floors above. The basement ceiling had no insulation. Triple H crew install new R-30 batt insulation to the basement ceiling. Now the customer is experiencing warmer floors above the basement and less drafts.
This customer in Sound Beach had requested a Free Home Energy Assessment. Upon completion of the assessment it was determined that this home had little to no insulation in the exterior walls. This causes the homeowner to have colder rooms and feel discomfort. To improve the comfort of this home we dense packed the exterior walls with cellulose insulation. This homeowner now has warmer rooms and is more comfortable.
Our customer located in Middle Island requested a free home energy assessment. In order to make this customer more comfortable and more efficient, we installed blown-in cellulose insulation into the attic. We also installed an attic zipper hatch. This covers the opening of the stairs that provide access into the attic. By installing this attic zipper hatch it will stop air infiltration between the home and attic, the most common medium for wasting costly energy, during both hot and cold seasons. After completion of the project, this customer will be warmer in the colder months and will save energy.
