This homeowner couldn't wait to transform his dirty attic space into a more efficient space. The expert Triple H crew air-sealed all air leaks in the space and added baffles to each rafter bay to seep soffit vents clear and prepare insulation. After everything is prepped in the space, the crew then added 14" of cellulose insulation. This home is now warm in the winter, cool in the summer, and energy-efficient.
A customer from Woodbury, NY was having comfort issues in his home. He was experiencing drafts and was also having a hard time keeping his home warm in the colder months. After an evaluation it was recommended that he should upgrade his attic insulation. Triple H removed the old insulation so they could air seal the attic floor properly so there are no air leaks. Insulation doesn’t stop air leaks, it’s always important to seal the air leaks before adding the new insulation so you don’t lose the air from your home. Then 10” of Cellulose Insulation is blown into the attic space. Resulting in a warmer, more comfortable home.
Beautiful Crawl Space Insulation. The walls are insulated with SilverGlo foam board insulation. Then TerraBlock foam insulation is installed across the floor and spiked down, which insulates and adds durability to the crawl space. Finally, a heavy-duty crawl space encapsulation liner is installed permanently across the floor and sealed to the walls and floor. Resulting in much lower humidity, much warmer floors upstairs, and fewer drafts
This Crawl Space in Massapequa Park, NY had no insulation in it causing the rooms and floors above it to be cold. Without the proper insulation on the walls, it causes condensation, drafts from the outside air and an uncomfortable home. Triple H insulated the crawl space walls with closed cell spray foam. The closed cell spray foam was applied to the bottom of the walls, over the sill plate, and to the top of the rim joist. Now this crawl space will have much less humidity, much warmer floors, less drafts, and a much more comfortable home.
