Triple H went to this home in Locust Valley, NY to add insulation to the attic space. Part of the insulation process was adding SilverGlo foamboard insulation to the wall of the knee wall, covering the existing fiberglass in that space. SilverGlo is expanded polystyrene foam insulation with graphite infused into the foam, which increases the R-value by 24%. SilverGlo also has a radiant barrier on both sides to reflect roof heat out in the summer and back in during the winter. This results in a significantly warmer upstairs room in the winter and cooler rooms upstairs in the hot weather, less drafts, and more comfort.
