A homeowner from West Islip, NY contacted Triple H insulation with concerns about their attic insulation. Our home comfort consultant Chris performed a free evaluation of their home. Upon completion he was able to provide a solution to improve the attic insulation. Triple H removed and disposed of all the existing insulation, then air sealed and insulated the attic floor with 10” of TruSoft cellulose. They finished up by dense packing the decking in between the attic and ceiling up to 6” deep with Trusoft cellulose. The homeowner will now be more comfortable and their home will be more energy efficient.
This homeowner from Commack was interested in making their home more efficient. The attic in this home was lacking adequate insulation. The home was experiencing a large amount of air seal leakage too. Triple H installed cellulose insulation, baffles between the attic rafters to improve natural ventilation and built an insulated mechanical catwalk. This home will be much more efficient. The customer will also see an improvement in the comfort of the home as well.
A resident of Commack contacted Triple H with concerns that their Crawl Space was not properly insulated. After having a free estimate, Triple H recommended reinsulating the Crawl Space. Triple H went in and removed all the old moldy and damaged insulation and installed a GoldSeal Encapsulation system with SilverGlo. All the air leaks in the crawl space were sealed and SilverGlo insulation was installed. The encapsulation liner is installed along the dirt floor. Now this customer should experience warmer floors, less drafts, and lower heating and cooling costs.
The Triple H crew went to a home in Commack, NY to update the customers attic insulation. They removed the old batt insulation. And added 12” of blown in cellulose insulation to reach the optimum R-value of R49. Now with the colder weather, this customers home will be easier to heat in the winter and more comfortable year-round.
