Triple H Insulation Before & After Photos

This customer in Ridge had a free home energy assessment. They were looking to lower their utility bills. After completing the assessment, it was determined the home could benefit from new insulation. A mechanical cat walk was built to give the customer a neat and clean storage space. This home also had can lights. Can lights are a huge source of lost heat. In order to make the home more efficient can light covers were installed. Cellulose insulation was blown-in making the home more efficient.

The previous owner did have insulation work done in the attic but it was insufficient. Triple H Contracting used cellulose insulation in the attic to make the home as efficient as possible. The homeowner will  feel more comfortable and save on utility bills.

After the assessment was completed it was determined that this home could benefit from a mechanical catwalk as well as blown in cellulose insulation. The mechanical cat walk makes it easier to access the HVAC system, it also allows for a clean and neat storage area. The cellulose insulation will make the home warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer. The homeowner will see a reduction in their utility bills as well.

After reviewing the findings of the assessment the customer wanted to have the attic properly insulated. Triple H contracting used Cellulose insulation to insulate the attic, increasing the R value. This homeowner also requested to have a storage area. We built a storage area, giving the homeowner a clean and usable storage space. To ensure the attic was properly sealed off an attic tent was installed as well. After completion of the project the homeowner will feel more comfortable and save on utility bills.

In order to help reduce the cost of both heating and cooling the house Triple H Contracting air sealed the attic floor and then blew in 5 inches of Borate Cellulose. Now that the attic is properly air sealed and insulated the customer will see an improvement in her electric bills.
